Mortgage Market Guide for Week of March 17

This weeks Mortgage Market Guide reviews the financial markets and the certain impacts to the Portland Oregon real estate market.  The past week was up and down again, but we saw fixed home loan rates come down by about .25% to end the week.

Several key economic reports are due for release this week including:  Housing Starts, Building Permits and Jobless Claims among others.  Positive news means bonds will fall and home loans will rise, so keep an eye on these indicators to see how they impact the Portland Oregon real estate market.
