Here’s a weekly update of the mortgage finance markets which could impact the Portland real estate market in the coming weeks. This weeks Mortgage Market Guide discusses the volatility of the bond and mortgage market from the past week and predicts more of the same as we approach the next Fed Meeting and Rate Decision. All signs are pointing to another rate cut when the Fed meets on March 18th, but Friday’s Jobs Report may cause some movement depending on the what numbers are released.
