We have preliminary market data for the month of May, 2008 for Portland’s Eastern Suburbs Real Estate. The eastern suburbs include Gresham, Sandy, Troutdale, Corbett, Milwaukie, Gladstone, Happy Valley, Clackamas, Damascus, Oregon City, Beaver Creek, Canby, Molalla, and MulinoHighlights Include:
- $270,000 median price is approximately flat compared to May 07 $270,000 median price
- 388 properties under contract (pending sales) is approximately 17% below last May’s contract sales of 469*
- Sold properties in May were on market an average of 79 days
- There are approximately 9.5 months of inventory on the market at the May sales rate
