Southeast Portland’s Hawthorne - Mt Tabor Tour of Homes for March 30, 2008
Mar 29th, 2008 | By Greg Long | Category: Neighborhoods, SE PortlandPortland Real Estate Cafe’s Sunday Tour of Homes
View up to 9 homes without any pressure or hassle! This is a great way to see several homes in a neighborhood in your price range. This week we have scheduled the Hawthorne and Mt Tabor neighborhoods in the $349,000 - $415,000 price range. Tour is hosted by Realtors - Bob Broad (503-222-7623) & Greg Long (503-413-0027). Please call if you have any questions.
Here’s how it works: The tour runs between 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM, and you can meet us at any home on the tour. Feel free to drive by the homes before the schedule times, but we are on a set schedule - so don’t be late for the homes you would like to view. We only keep the home open for about 10 minutes (unless the listing agent is holding an open house), then we move on to the next. If you see a home on the tour that interests you, a second private showing can be arranged.

In our opinion the homes at 2016 SE 58th Ave., 1945 SE 52nd were the best values. Some recent price reductions made a couple of other homes “honorable mentions.”
By the time we got to the home on 58th, it was already under contract, and the new-owners-to-be were there and down-right giddy. It’s clear that well-priced homes are selling briskly.
If you joined us for this first “Cafe Crawl,” we’re interested in hearing your thoughts/reactions. We want to know what we could do improve on the concept.
If you didn’t join us, is there a theme for a future “crawl” that would be compelling? Is there a day/time that you would like to recommend?
